    This eco accredited tour is adventure packed, educating and fun.
    Focused on providing you with fascinating information about the Whitsunday Islands, your passionate tour guide will talk you through all the amazing diversity and wildlife you’ll see while on bush walks, exploring National Parks and snorkelling the reefs.

    The SV Whitehaven offers style and comfort, with big open decks for sunbathing and plenty of seating for those seeking shade. Accommodation is based on shared dorms.

    Itinerary Example
    Day 1 (Option 1)
    Depart from Airlie beach at 8.45am. Once onboard the friendly and professional crew will brief you about safety before you set sail to cross the Whitsunday Passage. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved with sailing and take a turn at the helm under the guidance of the crew.
    After morning tea you’ll arrive at your first snorkelling destination. The crew will give you an introduction to snorkelling and take you by dinghy to a protected beach for you to snorkel from. This is a great location for you to build up your confidence in the water.
    Head back to the ship for a freshly prepared buffet lunch of salad, cold meats and rolls. You’ll then set sail for your next location, Nara Inlet, where you’ll be anchored for the night. Once here you can go on a free kayaking safari and explore Aboriginal Caves; your knowledgeable guide will tell you all about the Ngaro tribe and the significance of this beautiful inlet.
    Indulge with afternoon Hor D’oeuvres and a cold beer or wine while you listen to the passionate crew talk about the fascinating world of the Great Barrier Reef.
    Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and join the fun on the back deck or find a quiet spot for stargazing before heading to bed.

    Day 1 (Option 2):
    Depart from Airlie beach at 8.45am. Once onboard the friendly and professional crew will brief you about safety before you set sail to cross the Whitsunday Passage. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved with sailing and take a turn at the helm under the guidance of the crew.
    After morning tea you’ll set sail for the stunning Hill Inlet and Whitehaven beach. Here you’ll have plenty of time to relax on the pure white silica sands and take in the picturesque surroundings. Join the crew for a few beach games and a guided walk to the Hill Inlet lookout, throughout the day the guide will provide you with plenty of interesting facts about the area.
    Head back to the ship for a freshly prepared buffet lunch of salad, cold meats and rolls. Relax in the shade or sun as you head to the pristine waters and spectacular Whitsundays reefs for an afternoon of snorkelling. The crew will provide you with heaps of knowledge to further enhance your underwater exploration.
    Set sail for your next location, Nara Inlet, where you’ll be anchored for the night. Indulge with afternoon Hor D’oeuvres and a cold beer or wine while you listen to the passionate crew talk about the fascinating world of the Great Barrier Reef.
    Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and join the fun on the back deck or find a quiet spot for stargazing before heading to bed.At the end of another big day out, hot shower, yummy food and good times with your new found ship mates

    Day 2
    After breakfast enjoy a free kayaking safari; spot wildlife and learn all about this beautiful area from your factual guide.
    After morning tea it’s another chance to snorkel the amazing underwater gardens of the Whitsundays and spot marine wonders.
    Head back to the ship around midday for a delicious lunch before setting sail back to Airlie Beach across the Whitsunday passage.
    You’ll be back in Airlie Beach at around 3.30/4pm.
    That evening you can continue the fun by joining your shipmates at the After Party (details will be provided at the end of the trip).
