To start off, what better way to explore Phnom Penh and learn about Cambodia’s history than by tuk tuk. Next, you will go to Kampot. Since Kampot is known for its exceptional pepper, visiting a pepper plantation is a must-do. You will also learn how to cook traditional Cambodian dishes, so you can take a piece of Cambodia home with you.

Soon after, you’ll reach Koh Rong, an idyllic island with exquisite snorkelling and picture-perfect beaches. The traditional floating villages will be ticked off your bucket list in Siem Reap, your final stop on this 10-day group tour. To finish off this epic Cambodia tour, you will get to see one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world, Angkor Wat, for sunrise. 10 Day Cambodia South to North Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive & Meet Your Group

When you land in Phnom Penh after your flight your amazing tour guide will be at the airport to meet you and take you to the hotel. You’ll have plenty of time to recover from your flight, chill out and meet your group. That night, head out for dinner and drinks.

Day 2: Explore Phnom Penh

After a tuk tuk tour through the crazy streets of Phnom Penh, you’ll make two important stops at the S21 Prison and the original Killing Fields to learn about the dark history of this fascinating country. A difficult day, but a must to properly understand the journey of the Cambodian people in recent decades. That evening you’ll head for dinner and drinks, followed by some of Phnom Penh’s best nightlife.

Day 3: Kampot Kayaking

Today, get off the beaten path and head to the peaceful countryside province of Kampot. The next two nights are spent by the beautiful riverside with plenty of time for swimming and relaxing. That afternoon take a kayak down the river and soak up the laid back daily life of the locals.

Day 4: Pepper Plantation & Cooking Class

Kampot is known to have some of the best pepper in the world! Learn first hand how to make some of Cambodia’s most authentic and delicious meals and then get to explore the pepper plantation before heading out on a stunning river cruise.

Day 5: Travel to Koh Rong

It’s now time to experience the most beautiful beaches in Cambodia! Take a train and a fast ferry to the stunning tropical island of Koh Rong and check into your traditional Khmer style beach bungalows. The afternoon can be spent lazing on the beach or exploring the island before you head out for dinner and drinks!

Day 6: Snorkelling Adventure

All aboard a private long tail boat to some of the best snorkel spots around the islands, including some beautiful secluded beaches. This evening’s sunset will be the perfect time to reflect on another ridiculously awesome day together.

Day 7: Chill Out & Overnight Bus

This morning enjoy your final day on the island relaxing on the beach. You’ll then catch the ferry back to the mainland for dinner before boarding a comfortable overnight bus bound for Siem Reap. With fully reclining beds and air con, this is bus travelling in style.

Day 8: Siem Reap Floating Villages

Arrive in Siem Reap early in the morning. From there you’ll venture out to the rural areas and discover some traditional floating villages surrounded by lush rice fields, lotus flowers and flooded forests.

Day 9: Angkor Wat

Wake for sunrise and travel by tuk tuk to the absolutely mind-blowing and world famous Angkor Wat; the largest temple in the world! A local guide will join you to explain the fascinating history and surrounding temples, including Ta Prohm where Tomb Raider was filmed. Tonight, head out for your farewell dinner and final night out!

Day 10: Check Out & Onward Travel

Your amazing 10-day adventure of Cambodia finishes in Siem Reap. Your amazing guide will be on hand to help you plan and organize your onward travel.

Between 28 Day and 365 Days incur a 25.00% fee.

Do I need to reconfirm my bookings?

All bookings must be reconfirmed 48 hours in advance by contacting your tour provider directly using the contact information listed on your tour voucher.

What should i do if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?

You may either re-schedule directly with the supplier or you can email our support team on [email protected] and include your voucher number, name of product you booked, planned departure date and your contact details. Once you’ve emailed us, you can drop us a line at +61 2 5633 1149.

Do you book tours with flexible dates? If so, how long are they valid for?

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.

What do I do if I need help with an existing booking?

Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.

Do I need travel insurance?

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).

How do I know if my trip is BYO?

Most tour vouchers will specify if your trip is BYO however we recommend asking your tour provider if your trip is BYO when you reconfirm your booking 48 hours prior to departure.
