As you roll through the gorgeous Byron Bay hinterland, you’ll get to stop off at a number of famous locations. Visit Killen Falls, a lovely waterfall tucked away in a rainforest gully, where you’ll find a hidden oasis plunging into a refreshing swim hole and a platform that offers a stunning view. Head to Eltham Hotel, a favourite among locals, for a delicious lunch and a cold locally brewed beer in the sunny picnic garden. This pub eludes 110 year old rustic charm and genuine country hospitality.
Take an interesting tour of Nimin Rocks and enjoy breathtaking views of these unusual natural beauties. An ancient and cultural site to the local Wiyabal clan of Bundjalung country, these rocks are a result of a volcanic eruption from 20 million years ago, and not a site you want to miss. Finally, into Nimbin village itself as you discover eccentric markets, stores, and cafes and a wonderfully laid back vibe. If you feel like getting pretty adventurous and want to get amongst the true Australian terrain, a 4WD may be better suited for you. Enquire now and we can help you find the most suitable transport option.
