Vietnam Cities & Culture Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Ho Chi Minh

Welcome to Ho Chi Minh. Arrive at the airport where you’ll be transferred to your hotel in the centre of the city. Say hello to the crew you’re about to take on Vietnam with and hit the town for your first night out. It’s time to get ready for the adventure of a lifetime!

Day 2: Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels

Today you head to the Cu Chi Tunnels so make sure you have comfortable footwear and brace yourself for an inspiring day ahead. The tunnels you’re about to explore were made in the late 1940s and used for all kinds of purposes, from sheltering soldiers to delivering supplies and even laying booby traps. You’ll see how small some of the tunnels are, only 80cm wide and 80cm high, and you’ll also have the opportunity to get a close-up look at the tunnels and explore some of the underground hiding holes. You’ll learn about the history of Vietnam and understand the struggles and obstacles faced by the people here only 70 years ago.
