Sydney is definitely one of the more “posh” cities of Australia with quite a higher standard of living than most places, but can be easy to handle on a budget. From the point of view of a frugal traveller to a creature of comfort, you will be looking at spending anywhere between 85$AUD and 170$AUD+ a day.
There’s plenty of cool neighbourhoods to stay in while visiting Sydney, but let us break down some of our favourite areas!
Of course! If you get stuck while you are in Sydney and not sure what’s the best thing to do on that day, give us a buzz at our callcenter and we will be able to assist you with the best advice we can give.
Sydney is full of nature and sometimes, it can be pretty difficult to choose the best of the best. Here are some of our favourites.
The Australian continent is in the Southern Hemisphere, so it celebrates its summer from December to March and winter from June to September. New South Wales, the state where Sydney resides, is located in a subtropical zone with hot summers and cool winters.
Peak season is from Christmas until the end of January. This time coincides with school holidays, hot temperatures, and higher rates on flights and accommodation. However, it is also the time-frame to experience the longest days, Christmas on the beach, one of the greatest New Year’s Eve firework shows on the planet, popular festivals, and outdoor activities!
Alternatively, a Sydney spring is usually dry and warm; offering pleasant temperatures, smaller crowds, and days full of abundant sunshine.
