Day 1: Today you arrive into beautiful Darwin, a city known for its laid back culture and its access to some of australia’s most rugged and stunning landscapes. First spend some time exploring the city, wander the streets, grab a coffee and settle in like a local. When you’re ready check into Nomads Central and grab a beer at the nearby bars.
Day 2: Up early to head out to Litchfield National Park, you’ll be picked up from your accommodation in the custom fully air conditioned tour buses. Spend your day cruising overland around the national park exploring the best local swimming holes and some of the most pristine and awe inspiring waterfalls in Australia. After a final stop to see the towering termite mounds, you will cruise back to darwin for a meal and a few drinks.
Day 3: Today you’ll hop on board a Jumping crocodile cruise, seeing the dinosaurs in their natural habitat, they are magnificent and at times curiously calm. That is until you dangle lunch in front of them, remember to keep your arms inside the boat. The trip includes a return coach.
Day 4: For a bit of heart pumping adrenaline today you visit Crocosaurus Cove, where you get up close and personal with nature’s ultimate predators. As an optional extra you can even get in the water with them for that true thrill seeking experience. Consider finishing the day checking out the Mindil night markets where you can even snap down on a crocodile burger.
Day 5: Enjoy the last day in Darwin with a relaxed breakfast or pick up a line and do some fishing, today is yours to spend however you like and also your last day at the hostel.
