If you haven’t already checked out our blog on Tag-Along-Tours, then we’ll sum it up in just a few simple words. Travel across the island in a Toyota Land Cruiser as part of a convoy led by your guide. You have the option to drive one of these iconic 4WD’s if you are 21 years or older and have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years. If you don’t have a license or simply, you’d rather take on other important tasks such as in-car DJ or group photographer – You do you.
If you’d rather just kick chills in the back and sip a few cold ones then they’re more than fine with that too. Whilst this trip does include a guide, it’s not a hold-your-hand sort of vibe. You’ll be required to roll up your sleeves and get involved with everything from pulling your rig out the sand to mucking in with campsite duties. If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsey then dinner is on you. If not then doing dishes is more fun after a couple of beers.
For the same price as a weekend in the city, these guys will kit you out with all of your islands off-roading essentials. Fully guided for 3 days and 2 nights you and your group will see the must do highlights through the eyes of a local. It doesn’t get more Aussie than camping on an Island with your mates and a beer in hand. Arrive the day before your trip departs for a compulsory pre-tour safety briefing. Held at Nomads Noosa at 6pm.
