Looking to tick Darwin, The Northern Territory and the Red Centre off your bucket list? Why not combine the two with an awesome overland adventure with the crew of Mulgas Adventures which merges their popular 3 day Uluru and Red Centre Tour with the Alice Springs to Darwin 2 day Express?

It’s the perfect way to enjoy more of what outback Australia has to offer and a much better option than a 24 hour bus journey or internal flight! With this tour you’ll see the best bits the top end and Red Centre have to offer. This is an active tour that is perfect for travellers with a sense of adventure. During this amazing tour you’ll swim in crystal clear waters, see spectacular animals and view some truly amazing sites.

The three day Uluru Tour leaves every morning at around 6am and runs over the course of three days. Day one involves a 6 hour drive to Uluru with a short stop-over at a local camel farm. You’ll visit the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta (Olgas) then watch in amazement at the sunset over Ayers Rock. Day two includes an Uluru sunrise and Ayers Rock walk with traditional Aboriginal Cultural Teachings. Next we drive to Kings Canyon to set up camp. Day three includes a Kings Canyon walk and a visit to the Garden of Eden before making your way back to Alice Springs. All meals and accommodation are included in this 3 day Uluru tour!

The Darwin Express is the best way to travel between Alice Springs and Darwin. The 2 day express trip is a fast, affordable way to travel with great photo opportunities along the way. You will visit the Devils Marbles, Mataranka Hot Springs and Edith Falls, stay a night at the famous Daly Waters Historial Pub (included) with dinner included.

You will stay in Alice at Jump Inn Backpackers the night between the 2 tours.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Uluru
Leave Alice Springs at 6am and travel to Uluru, stopping along the way for your FREE camel ride. After lunch head to the Cultural Centre, after which you are taken on a short guided walk at the base of Uluru. Head off to watch the spectacular sunset over Uluru enjoying a glass of bubbly with some nibbles too. Then it's back to camp to enjoy a hearty meal and a night under the stars.

Day 2 : Kata Tjuta and Kings Creek Station
After your early start to watch the sunrise, spend the morning doing an amazing hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. After lunch you're off to Kings Creek station, viewing the gorgeous George Gill Range along the way. Enjoy an outback BBQ diner and laughs around the campfire with new friends and another evening of star gazing.

Day 3 : Kings Canyon
Up early to take on the spectacular Kings Canyon Rim walk. You'll visit the North and South walls, the Garden of Eden and the Natural Ampitheatre. Back to Alice Springs , arriving at around 6pm. You'll be staying at Jump Inn for the night.

Day 4 : Daly Waters
Leave Alice Springs at 5am heading north up the Stuart Highway. Stop at Devils Marbles for a photo opportunity, then continue on to Daly Waters Historical Pub. You stop overnight and have a pub dinner (included) and some drinks if you fancy.

Day 5 : Darwin
Another early start to continue on to Mataranka Hot Springs for an amazing swim in the thermal pools! Then to the amazing Edith Falls stopping along the way at Katherine to buy some lunch. Arrive in Darwin at around 5pm.
