Fancy exploring The Whitsunday Islands aboard an ex racing yacht full of character and spirit? Well jump aboard Broomstick and enjoy the ride!
Sailing around the Whitsunday Islands in Australia is something every Oz adventure should include – it’s a stunning part of the world and a highlight of the East Coast trail.
So why not jump aboard this 2 day, 2 night sailing adventure departing from Airlie Beach on board Broomstick?
This ex racing yacht was originally built for the Cape Town to Rio race and has completed all over the world, including the Sydney to Hobart Race. After she was retired in 2000 she was converted into a sailing yacht, but plenty of her racing spirit remains!
Throughout your trip you’ll have plenty of time to snorkel some of the amazing coral reefs, swim amongst the warm clear waters and visit spots like the famous Whitehaven Beach, Hayman Island and Mantaray Bay.
For those looking to explore the underwater world even more you can also upgrade to include and introductory scuba dive too.
…you can even get stuck in and help the crew set the sails or steer for a bit!
