A day trip to The Great Barrier Reef is one of Australias must do activities and it’s the perfect way to kick off or end your trip on the East Coast of Australia.

This day trip with Passions of Paradise takes in all glory of the Great Barrier Reef, cruising aboard this modern and well equipped catamaran. During your day trip experience  you’ll be well taken care of and well fed too. You tour includes morning tea, a diverse tropical buffet lunch and even afternoon cheese platters!

The main focus of the day is the reef itself and the crew aboard ‘Passions Of Paradise’ will help you make the most of some of the great barrier reef’s best underwater locations. You’ll have access to high quality snorkel equipment and if you’ve never snorkelled before or aren’t so comfortable in the water you’ll be well looked after by the crew. If you’d like they can include floatation devices and expert snorkel tuition free of charge.

And if you want even more adventure and to really get amongst the marine life you can get involved in the FREE 10 min scuba introduction and then you’ll have the option to upgrade your trip with an Introductory  Scuba Dive.

Take in all the natural beauty of the reef at their two unique locations, chosen out of  27 great sites, to suit the conditions and learn heaps about the underwater world from their onboard marine naturalist.

You’ll cruise back to Cairns at the end of the day, maybe indulging in a cold beer from the bar, with some great memories…hopefully you’ll even find Nemo too!

-Bring, hat, sunscreen, bathing gear, sunglasses, towel, etc. as you would for travelling to the beach. We have credit card facilities on the boat.

Extra Costs: $20 Reef Levy To Pay On Board

Check in is at our counter at the Reef Fleet Terminal, Marlin Marina at around 7:30 am for 8 am departure. All return bus transfers come at additional costs and need to be booked directly through the Passions of Paradise office and quoting your confirmation number. Transfer Costs: City $15pp, Nth Beaches $22pp.
