This 12-day Sri Lanka Group Trip trip starts in Negombo and finishes in Mirissa and during, you will get to experience all this enchanting country has to offer. Starting off in Negombo, you will hop in a tuk tuk to explore the towns of Negombo and Sigiriya. Here you will also get to experience what life is like as a local and learn how to cook mouthwatering Sri Lankan dishes, which you will be able to cook back home for your friends and family. Next, you will visit a spice garden en route to Sri Lanka’s cultural hub, Kandy. A must-do here is to tour the spectacular Temple of the Tooth and, of course, to take a stroll around the picturesque Kandy Lake. As you travel farther south to Ella, you will learn how to collect and prepare tea between seemingly endless green tea plantations. In Ella, you will hike up to the magical Little Adam’s Peak, which will be awaiting you with memorable views.
A trip to Sri Lanka wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, so, of course, you will be heading there before you continue on to the marvellous Udawalawe National Park. You will find yourself sitting at sunrise in a jeep cruising through the marvelous Udawalawe National Park, spotting wild herds of elephants, bird life, and loads more free-roaming wildlife. Before you head to your final destination, Mirissa, you will stay in an Eco Retreat in Talalla and learn to surf at the legendary Weligama Beach. Your trip will end with a truly memorable experience, heading to a Buddhist monastery engaging in a cultural exchange with the resident monk students, and finishing the last day with dinner on the beach.

We’ll pick you up from Colombo airport and take you to our beach front hotel in Negombo. You’ll then have plenty of time to recover from your long flight, chill out and meet everyone in your group.
Discover the beachside town of Negombo by tuk tuk and visit the famous local fish market, before heading to the town of Sigiriya. The next two nights we will stay in a lush, tropical hotel.
An amazing and diverse day starting with experiencing the stunning views of the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress followed by an authentic local village experience. We’ll cruise by boat and learn how to make delicious Sri Lankan food and live like the locals!
Today we’ll head south via a spice garden before arriving in the cultural center of Sri Lanka – Kandy. We’ll visit the amazing Temple of the Tooth and wander around the beautiful Kandy Lake, before heading out for dinner and a few drinks.
We’ll continue south through stunning rolling green tea plantations, stopping to learn how to pick and make tea; Sri Lanka’s most famous export. Before boarding the ‘world’s most scenic train’ to the town of Ella. Once we arrive we’ll head into town for dinner and a night out!
A free morning to relax and explore the beautiful little town of Ella, do some shopping or unwind with a traditional massage. We’ll then hike the stunning Little Adam’s Peak and enjoy the spectacular views.
This morning we’ll visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge before heading south to the amazing Udawalawe National Park.
Traveling by jeep at sunrise we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for the free roaming wild elephants, plus other species like crocodiles, buffalo and bird life on safari. We’ll then head to the beachside oasis of Hiriketiya for a chilled afternoon in paradise. Later we’ll arrive at our beachfront eco retreat in gorgeous Talalla, where we’ll finish the day watching the sunset whilst tucking into a BBQ.
The aim of today is to do as little or as much as you want. Take a deep breath and feel the peace and calm wash over you at this beautiful retreat. Yoga is an option, or you could just snooze under a palm tree whilst soaking in one of the best kept secret beaches of the south.
This morning we’ll continue along the coast and stop for a private surf lesson on the super friendly and relaxed Weligama Beach, before visiting Coconut Tree Hill for its stunning view. We’ll later check into our beachfront accommodation in Mirissa and head out to check out the town.
Saving one of the best experiences till last. Today we’ll be heading to a Buddhist Monastery to take part in a cultural exchange with the local monk students who live there and gain a unique insight into Buddhist ways of life. Tonight and in celebration of our last evening together, we’ll be treating you to a farewell dinner on the beach.
Your epic adventure comes to an end today. Your group leader will help organize your onward travel including return to Colombo and airport transfers.

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.
Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses.
