This package includes a safety briefing on the morning of your Whitsundays departure date. All you need to do is book your flight and check in to Nomads Airlie Beach on the first day of your trip and we’ll sort out the rest!

Your hostel is just a short walk from the Greyhound and Premier Bus Stop or your nearest Airport to fly into is Cairns Airport (CNS). Please let us know what time your flight arrives and we will organise your free airport pick up.

Your shuttle bus will drop you off at reception where you will be able to check in (after 1PM) on the first day of your adventure. If you need help booking your flight, then just let us know and we’ll see if we can help you find a great deal.

You will need to be up bright & early today. Don’t forget to eat brekkie first, as this is not included on the boat. Make sure you bring your travel voucher with you when you check in for your boat trip so they can verify your booking number. Don’t forget sunscreen and your swimmers!

You will need to meet at the Passions Of Paradise check-in desk at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns (the details will be on your tour vouchers with what to bring and where to meet). Here, you will be checked in and given a basic safety briefing. Please be advised your boat trip will depart subject to the tides so departure time may vary!

Jump aboard the epic sailing vessel and sit back and relax as your crew sail out to the reef. On your way out there, make sure you hit the sun deck and slap on the sunscreen. Cairns has awesome weather at this time of the year so it’s perfect to top up that tan!

Not long after, you should arrive at your first unique snorkelling location on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Grab a snorkel and stringer suit (included) and jump into the crystal clear waters of the Coral Sea.

The Great Barrier Reef is home to stunning wildlife such as turtles, tropical fish, hard and soft coral, and loads more. Take time to explore the magnificent world under the sea before jumping back on board for a cracking lunch prepared by your onboard chef.

Sit back on the deck with your mates and bask in the sunshine whilst enjoying a buffet-style lunch and grab a cold drink at the bar as well.

Your captain and crew will set sail once again and take you to your second snorkelling destination, where you will once again have the option to explore a totally different reef site. Here, you may wish to partake in a scuba dive experience, so let us know if you wish to pre-book this or simply ask your crew on board, and they will look after you (subject to availability). Don’t forget your camera!

As the sun starts setting, you will head back to shore after an unreal day exploring one of Earth’s most incredible wonders. Just when you think your day couldn’t get any better, you will arrive back to shore just as Happy Hour starts!

We’d recommend you hit up Pier Bar for some sunset drinks before heading back to your hostel to get ready for a big night out on the town in Cairns. Cairns is notorious for having epic nightlife, with over 20 bars and clubs in the area. We’d recommend seeing where the night takes you and get into a mini-bar crawl. We’re sure you’ll find your way.

On day three, we won’t blame you if you wake up with one hell of a hangover. If you are feeling worse for wear and need to take it easy, then Cairns is the perfect place to be. We’d recommend going for brunch at Lillipad. Their brekkie burrito is to die for. After that, why not head down to Cairns Esplanade and kick back by the lagoon.

If you fancy making it a big night then no trip to Cairns is complete without visiting the infamous Gilligans nightclub. DJs from all around the world play here and it’s Cairns biggest nightclub by far! Lucky enough, it’s only a 2 minute walk from your hostel too, so getting home won’t be a problem!

The final day is here. Time to check out and say goodbye before making your way home or to your next destination. Check out will be at 10AM and if you need somewhere to store your luggage, just speak to the friendly reception team at Bounce Cairns, and they will help you!
