Welcome to Cambodia! Travel to Siem Reap, a small but mighty city in the north of Cambodia and the gateway to one of the most beautiful sites and landmarks, Angkor Wat. After arriving, relax and enjoy the city. Head out to the legendary Pub Street for themed bars, wonderful food, fun market stalls and endless neon lights.
Day 2: Cambodian Rural Experience
Today will be a truly exclusive adventure as you take part in a Cambodia Rural experience. Join a local Cambodian mango/rice farmer and learn what it takes to harvest everyone’s favourite tropical fruit. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to savour the delicious mangoes too. Then, visit the floating village where your local guide lives and take in this totally unique experience. Tonight, it’s back to the city to enjoy a sunset BBQ and an early night as you’ll be up early for another exciting adventure tomorrow.

Day 3: Angkor Wat
Rise and shine, today will be one for the memory books! You can’t leave Siem Reap without visiting the world’s biggest religious monument, Angkor Wat. It’s a massive 500 acre site with ancient and beautiful temples, ruins, and one of the most glorious sunrises you’ll ever see. Explore the unforgettable site and take in the magnificent detail of the overrun ruins and the pristine temples. Then tonight enjoy another evening making your way through every bar on Pub Street before tomorrow’s adventures to the capital of Cambodia.

Day 4: Travel to Phnom Penh
Wave goodbye to Siem Reap and head towards Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh. Stop off on the way in the countryside for a spot of lunch. Take in the beautiful surroundings and enjoy some delicious food. Get checked into your Phnom Penh accommodation and freshen up, ready to head out for an evening stroll and dinner at a riverside restaurant. Get your bargain on at the night market and head to the bars for an enjoyable night on the town.

Day 5: The Killing Fields
If there’s one place every person should visit at some point in their life, it’s the Killing Fields, the location of a haunting Cambodian genocide. It’s a heavy one, and the devastating effects can still be felt today. It’s a story that will stay with you but it’s a huge and integral part of Cambodia’s recent history that shaped their modern culture, making it something anyone visiting should take the time to learn about. After a humbling visit, head back for dinner and spend the rest of your evening in whatever way you like. Hang out with your travel mates, enjoy a stroll through the city, or find a bar – whatever suits you.

Day 6: Arcadia Waterpark
It’s time to travel to the riverside town of Kampot, surrounded by stunning mountain views and picturesque scenery. First stop is at Arcadia Waterpark, a place of lush greenery, cool waters, slushy cocktails, rope swings and pontoons. The perfect place to let your hair down, and spend some quality time with your group. Enjoy a chilled afternoon sunbathing on the riverbank with a cold beer or a meander in a kayak. Or for something a bit more thrilling, jump on ‘The Blob’, a giant inflatable that flings you into the air, before you crash into the water, trying not to lose your swimmers. Super fun!

Day 7: Pepper Plantations & Cooking Class
Today you’ll head to a local pepper plantation where you can learn everything you need to know about farming the famous Kampot peppers. Then it’s time to use your newfound pepper knowledge to cook a delicious, traditional Khmer meal, learning from the best in a traditional Cambodian cooking class. In the evening, make your way in and out of the quaint streets lined by faded blue and green wood shutters, and down to the waterside for a dinner overlooking the river.

Day 8: Travel to Koh Rong
I’m sure after a few days exploring the mainland you’re more than ready for another island adventure. It’s time to head over to Koh Rong, Cambodia’s secluded paradise. Travel by boat and be greeted by white, immaculate beaches and swaying palms. Spend the afternoon kayaking, paddleboarding, or relaxing in the hammocks. Be sure to hop on the sea swings for an insta-worthy shot. Lay back on the idyllic beaches, cocktail in hand, as you watch the sun set on a beautiful day.

Day 9: Koh Rong
Today is all about chilling out and living that island lifestyle. Have a lie in, stroll along the perfect beaches and take a morning dip in the tranquil water. Cancellations more than 60 days: Loss of deposit.
Cancellations 60 days of less: 100% of trip cost.
Free airport pickup is provided if arriving less than 48 hours before the start of the tour and booked the pre-nights directly with TruTravels at the start hotel.

Do I need to reconfirm my bookings?
All bookings must be reconfirmed 48 hours in advance by contacting your tour provider directly using the contact information listed on your tour voucher.
What should I do if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?
You may either re-schedule directly with the supplier or you can email our support team on [email protected] and include your voucher number, name of product you booked, planned departure date and your contact details. Once you’ve emailed us, you can drop us a line at +61 2 5633 1149.
Do you book tours with flexible dates? If so, how long are they valid for?
Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.
What do I do if I need help with an existing booking?
Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.
Do I need travel insurance?
We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).
How do I know if my trip is BYO?
Most tour vouchers will specify if your trip is BYO however we recommend asking your tour provider if your trip is BYO when you reconfirm your booking 48 hours prior to departure.
