Start your outback adventure departing Alice Springs at 6am, or Ayers Rock Airport at 1pm. Enjoy the dynamic views as you drive to Uluru, where you will first explore the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. Learn about the area’s Aboriginal history and the spiritual significance of Uluru. You’ll then get the chance to explore the magnificent rock up close and personal as you do a guided walk at the base of Uluru, to some of the most iconic spots. Witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world while enjoying a glass of bubbly wine with your tour group. Then, relax and enjoy a delicious dinner back at camp before sleeping in your swag with a view of the desert stars – some of the brightest in the world!

You’ll be up nice and early today for a hearty breakfast before heading to Kata Tjuta to enjoy a stunning Uluru sunrise. Revel in the sights as you hike through the Valley of the Wind, a series of narrow gorges and towering cliffs, before breaking for a refreshing lunch in the middle of the desert. In the afternoon, you’ll be travelling through the outback to see George Gill Range for some simply stunning views. Camp tonight is at Kings Creek Station, located in the heart of the Outback. Take part in a fantastic Aussie BBQ by the campfire, and end the day with another night of epic stargazing.

After another hearty breakfast, set out to explore the breathtaking Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, and hike the famous Rim Walk. This 6 km trek will take you to the edge of the canyon for wonderful views of the surrounding desert landscape. Experience a real desert Oasis known as the Garden of Eden, a beautiful spot to relax. Finally, it’s time to head back to Alice Springs as you reminisce about the beautiful sights and wonderful experience you’ve just had.

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.

Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.
