With 6 full days to journey along the coast from Perth to Exmouth, you’ll be able to see it all. Western Australia is known to be rugged, beautiful, and fairly undiscovered. Explore where not too many people have been before to see some of the most breathtaking sights in all of Australia. Venture into Nambung and Kalbarri National Park, to view the iconic Pinnacles desert with it’s limestone formations, and the stunning Nature’s Window. Enjoy views of the incredible Kalbarri Gorge from above on the Skywalk, seeing the Murchison Gorge 100 metres below. Visit the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse just in time for a spectacular sunset and a guided tour through Cape Range National Park. Wade into the gorgeos turquoise ocean to discover the array of sea life that thrives here. Snorkel at the famous Ningaloo Reef – known to be one of the best snorkelling spots in all of Australia, just metres from the beach. Spot colourful coral and giant turtles as well as hundreds of different species of fish. The highlight of your trip may well be your encounter with the Monkey Mia dolphins! See these majestic creatures up close as they swim and play around you. Take a wonderful stroll along Shell Beach – one of only two beaches made up entirely of shells. You’ll even get the option to join a snorkelling tour to find Manta Rays and Whale Sharks! Whale Sharks can get up to 18 metres long, and while not dangerous, it certainly is an experience you won’t forget any time soon.

Leaving Perth, head to your first stop at the incredible Pinnacles Desert in the Nambung National Park for a guided tour. Here you’ll wander through the ancient limestone natural structures and learn about the history of how they formed. Enjoy your lunch stop by the sea at the beautiful Jurien Bay, and enjoy the journey up Indian Ocean Drive for insane coastal views of the turquoise Indian Ocean. Stop off at the iconic Pink Lake outside of Geraldton, a sight you won’t forget in a hurry. Your dinner and accommodation tonight will be in the seaside town of Kalbarri.
Day 2: Kalbarri to Monkey Mia
Rise nice and early for a picture perfect sunrise at the Kalbarri’s Skywalk or Nature’s Window. Next explore Kalbarri National Park, where you will visit the Murchison Gorge and Z-Bend for gorgeous rocky views of where the water has carved through the sandstone, creating a rugged gorge that’s awesome to view. After lunch at the iconic Billabong Roadhouse, visit the World Heritage listed Shark Bay. Enjoy the rugged red cliffs and beautiful clear ocean, and stop off to discover the living fossils known as the Stromatolites. Finally head to Monkey Mia for beachside accommodation and dinner.
Day 3: Monkey Mia to Coral Bay
Today starts the right way, meeting the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins! Enjoy interacting with these incredible creatures and be sure to take some awesome photos. Before heading off for the next part of your journey, enjoy some downtime at the gorgeous beach and relaxing coffee shops. Next, visit Eagle Bluff for awesome views overlooking the town of Denham, and stroll along a beach made entirely of shells before lunch. Journey along the coast once more for lovely ocean views before arriving into Coral Bay for the evening, settling for an exciting day ahead of you at the famous Ningaloo Reef.
Day 4: Coral Bay to Exmouth
An exciting day ahead of you exploring the Ningaloo Reef, a spectacular fringe reef with a wide variety of all kinds of sea creatures. The activities today are endless – join a boat tour, swim with the manta rays, snorkel the reef, or enjoy free time to explore the beautiful beaches of Coral Bay. After lunch, head to Exmouth, right on the peninsula of the West Coast, for two nights in the town and a full day exploring.
Day 5: Exmouth
Full day exploring Exmouth and all of the wonderful destinations this place has to offer. Head to Cape Range National Park for views of awesome rugged limestone ranges and spectacular canyons. Enjoy the 50km of pristine beaches, voted some of the most beautiful in all of Australia. Catch some sun on the beach and go snorkelling with turtles in the aptly named Turquoise Bay. In the afternoon you’ll have plenty of free time to explore the town of Exmouth itself, or choose to join a Whaleshark or Humpback tour where you can go swimming with these marvellous creatures. Enjoy a wonderful sunset at Vlamingh Head Lighthouse before another evening of relaxing at your accommodation.
Day 6: Exmouth
Today marks the end of your travels after you check out of your hostel. Say goodbye to your tour group, enjoy a relaxing day at the beach, and plan your next exciting adventure!

Do I need to reconfirm my bookings?
All Coral Coaster bookings must be reconfirmed 48 hours in advance by contacting your tour provider directly using the contact information listed on your tour voucher.
What should i do if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?
You may either re-schedule directly with the supplier or you can email our support team on [email protected] and include your voucher number, name of product you booked, planned departure date and your contact details. Once you’ve emailed us, you can drop us a line at +61 2 5633 1149.
Do you book tours with flexible dates? If so, how long are they valid for?
Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.
What do I do if I need help with an existing booking?
Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.
Do I need travel insurance?
We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).
How do I know if my trip is BYO?
Most tour vouchers will specify if your trip is BYO however we recommend asking your tour provider if your trip is BYO when you reconfirm your booking 48 hours prior to departure.
