South Australia is an incredibly safe area to travel as there is no crime here. We recommend you would use caution as you would use in any other place, but there’s a small chance of anything going seriously wrong.

Are there any sharks there?

Yes, there are sharks in South Australia! From Great Whites to Port Jackson sharks, you’ll find all kinds of diverse marine animals here. However, no need to worry, as there are next to no shark attacks going on in South Australia. As long as you don’t go and punch a shark in the face, you should be a-okay. South Australia is actually one of the only places you can cage dive with a shark – be sure to check it out!
