Set sail on a fun and exciting 2 day, 2 night adventure with Spank Me Whitsundays, an 82-foot ex-racing yacht that takes you to the heart of the Whitsunday Islands.

This iconic sailing experience is perfectly crafted for adventurous souls looking for an authentic journey through the Whitsundays. Every day, you’ll dive into the crystal-clear waters, snorkel among vibrant coral reefs, and discover hidden treasures of the World Heritage-listed Whitsundays, including the famous Whitehaven Beach. If you’re craving a hands-on experience, you can help hoist the mainsail and drop anchor, or simply kick back on deck and take in the stunning surroundings.

With open-plan bunk rooms accommodating up to 27 guests plus a friendly crew of three, this tour is designed for sailing at its best.

When the sun dips below the horizon, you can relax on deck with new friends or join the crew in preparing hearty meals like beef tacos, fresh salads, and pasta dishes – guaranteed to keep you satisfied. Board the Spank Me Sailboat on Day 1 of your tour and depart for The Whitsunday Islands

2 hours at Whitehaven beach

2 Nights accommodation on the boat

Bush walk to Tongue Point for breathtaking views of all 7km of Whitehaven Beach

3 x Snorkelling spots over the 2 days

Chill out in the evenings with a beer and some delicious fresh food

Get hands on and help the crew out with sailing

Enjoy the included meals with breakfast, lunch and dinner each day with your fellow travellers (6 meals total)

All prices are shown in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST. Prices are valid from 1st April 2020.
All OzSail Vessel departures and itineraries are subject to weather and may be changed or cancelled at OzSail’s discretion. OzSail reserves the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time and for any reason.
OzSail reserves the right to cancel any trip, or reduce trip duration, in any circumstances, including those which pose a safety risk to you, the OzSail vessel or crew, such as severe weather, including cyclones.
If an OzSail trip is cancelled by OzSail prior to or on the scheduled departure date, you will be referred back to the travel agent through which you booked your trip on an OzSail Vessel.
If your trip duration is reduced during the trip due to Unforeseen Circumstances, you may be offered a future trip on an OzSail Vessel, at no cost to you, depending on the amount of time by which your original trip on an OzSail Vessel was reduced and, subject to availability. You acknowledge that “Unforseen Circumstances” includes but is not limited to the following; inclement weather, issues pertaining to the OzSail Vessel and any medical emergency, such as injury to guests or crew.
You acknowledge that if you cancel your travel on an OzSail Vessel less than 21 days before the trip departure date, this will result in the forfeiture by you of the full trip price.
If you request a transfer of a trip departure date up to at least 72 hours before the day of scheduled departure this will incur a $30 transfer fee. No Transfers will be accepted under this 72 hr. period

What do I do if I need help with my tour booking?

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).

Do I need travel insurance?

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travelers take out travel insurance. If you already have Travel Insurance please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your Travel Insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.

World Nomads travel insurance policies offer coverage for more than 150 activities. Get a quote, make a claim, or buy or extend your policy while on the road.

Can I book a package but travel in the reverse direction?

Absolutely, just let us know your preferred start and finish location and we’ll make it work.

What is the best way to travel Australia?

There is definitely no wrong way. We recommend either taking a WHIMIT or Hop on Hop off bus pass such as Greyhound or renting a campervan with some mates and hitting the open road. If you feel like getting pretty adventurous and want to get amongst the true Australian terrain, a 4WD may be better suited for you. Enquire now and we can help you find the most suitable transport option.

What if something comes up and I can't make my tour?

We get it. Life is all about the unexpected, especially when you are travelling. If you are unable to make your pre-arranged tour you will need to reach out to our support email so we can give you a helping hand. In all cases we strongly recommend having a valid travel insurance policy which covers you for unexpected cancellations.

Can I add additional tours or make changes to this package?

Yes. All of our packages are customisable so if you would like to make any changes please contact our team.
