Meet your guide and fellow travellers at the Alice Springs pick-up point early in the morning and set off to explore the Red Centre. For a later pick-up, you can meet the group in Yulara, close to Ayers Rock Airport. Alternatively, you may join the group in Yulara at the airport or the Desert Gardens Hotel, depending on your arrival time.

Unlike Uluru, which emerges as a single giant boulder, Kata Tjuta consists of 36 domes that you’ll explore on an afternoon hike after lunch (lunch is included for those starting in Alice Springs; Yulara departures do not include lunch).

As evening falls, enjoy snacks while watching the sunset over Uluru as it casts stunning colours across the landscape. Back at camp, enjoy a delicious meal with your group, and if weather permits, sit outside under the stars.

Start your day early with a breathtaking Uluru sunrise. In the morning’s cool air, take a walk around the base of the rock, learning about the land and the local Mala people from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander guide. Enjoy a self-guided, full base walk around Uluru.

After lunch, visit the Uluru Cultural Centre, where you can purchase art and crafts by the First Peoples of Australia. Then, travel to an exclusive campsite near Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for a night of dining and rest.

The highlight of Watarrka is Kings Canyon, a vast gorge framed by towering rock walls. This stunning site, with its deep gullies and hidden rock pools, shelters over 600 species of native plants and animals. Your guide will lead a trek through the canyon’s famous landmarks, including the Lost City, Garden of Eden, Amphitheatre, and North and South Walls. After the hike, enjoy lunch and some rest before heading back to Alice Springs for farewells. Return to Alice Springs, arriving at approximately 6:00 PM.

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.

Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance.
