Your 3 day Byron Bay adventure starts at Arts Factory Lodge, located a short walk from the Greyhound & Premier Bus Stops or your nearest Airport to fly into is Ballina Airport (BNK). Airport pick up is not included in this package but can be booked through Steve’s Airport Transfers who will drop you off at your accom for under $25.

Your shuttle bus will drop you off at reception where you will be able to check in (after 1PM) on the first day of your adventure. If you need help booking your flight, then just let us know and we’ll see if we can help you find a great deal.

Evenings in Byron couldn’t be better, whether you head out for some of the incredible eats or just chill at the main beach with a cold drink and watch the surf at sunset – pure bliss guaranteed.

You will need to be up bright and early today, so don’t forget to eat brekkie before you head out on the water. Feel free to take your GoPro with you to snap some epic pictures and make sure you take sunscreen, swimmers, and a towel.

If you go with Kayaking With Dolphins, then here’s how your day will look…

Your guides will come and pick you up from outside of your accommodation. Times may vary due to tides and weather. All times will be listed clearly on your vouchers.

Your tour starts at Clarkes Beach where you and the rest of your group will be given a safety briefing and you will get suited & booted with all your kayaking necessities (helmet, life vest, and paddle).

Using double kayaks, this trip is perfect to do with a friend, your family, or your partner! If you are doing this trip solo, no dramas!

One of the legendary instructors and crew will take you onboard with them (some say this is the best seat in the house).

The crew are so knowledgeable, they will teach you everything you need to know about the dolphins and the local history of Byron Bay.

This trip is guaranteed to be a good time! If you are unlucky and don’t happen to see the dolphins then the crew will give you a voucher to go again for free! That’s their dolphin guarantee!

If choosing to do the Sea Turtle Snorkel then here’s how your day will look…

Let the legends at Byron Bay Dive Centre take you down to The Pass, where you will jump aboard one of their awesome ocean vessels.

You, your group, and the friendly guides will head out to Julian Rocks (voted one of Australia’s top dive and snorkel sites). Here, you can jump in the water and come face to face with some epic ocean life such as turtles, rays, and friendly sharks!

These trips normally depart in the morning or afternoon, giving you half a day free to explore. We’d recommend either checking out the famous Byron Bay Lighthouse and Wategos Beach. This cool coastal walk will be easily achievable in under 2 hours at a chilled pace. There’s loads of photo opportunities and if you look closely, you can spot turtles, dolphins, and whales swimming below (seasonal). Once you’ve finished this tour, head back to your accommodation where you may want to get involved with some of the hostel activities. These include everything from yoga, drum circles, didgeridoo carving, poi lessons, and more. If you don’t fancy finding your ‘inner hippie’, then why not head into Byron center for an acai bowl at our favourite spot, Combi Byron Bay, or better yet, take a trip to Main Street Burger Bar for the best burger in town.

There is definitely no wrong way. We recommend either taking a WHIMIT or Hop on Hop off bus pass such as Greyhound or renting a campervan with some mates and hitting the open road. If you feel like getting pretty adventurous and want to get amongst the true Australian terrain, a 4WD may be better suited for you. Enquire now and we can help you find the most suitable transport option.
