This package includes a safety briefing on the morning of your Whitsundays departure date. All you need to do is book your flight and check in to Nomads Airlie Beach on the first day of your trip and we’ll sort out the rest!

Your accommodation at Bounce Cairns is located a short walk from the Greyhound and Premier Bus Stop or your nearest Airport to fly into is Cairns Airport (CNS) – Please let us know what time your flight arrives and we will organise your free airport pick up.

Your shuttle bus will drop you off at reception, where you will be able to check in (after 1PM) on the first day of your adventure. If you need help booking your flight, then just let us know and we’ll see if we can help you find a great deal.

You will need to be up bright and early today. Don’t forget to eat brekkie first as this is not included on the boat. Make sure you bring your travel voucher with you when you check in for your boat trip so they can verify your booking number. Don’t forget the sunscreen and your swimmers!

You will need to meet at the Passions Of Paradise check-in desk at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns (details will be on your tour vouchers with what to bring and where to meet). Here, you will be checked in and given a basic safety briefing. Please be advised your boat trip will depart subject to the tides so departure time may vary!

Jump aboard this beauty of a vessel and sit back and relax as your crew sail out to the reef. On your way out there, your guide will give a reef interpretation talk where you and the rest of the passengers will have an opportunity to learn about the magnificent Great Barrier Reef.

Not long after, you will arrive at your first unique snorkelling location on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Grab a snorkel and stringer suit (included) and jump into the crystal clear waters of the Coral Sea. If you are new to snorkelling, you will be given a basic snorkelling lesson. You’ll have the option to jump in the water and follow your guide or just freestyle it with your mates.

The Great Barrier Reef is home to stunning wildlife such as turtles, tropical fish, hard and soft coral, and much more. Take time to explore the magnificent world under the surface before jumping back on board for a beautiful fresh lunch prepared by your onboard chef. Magnificent!

Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to bask in the sunshine with the rest of your travel mates. If you prefer to get some shade, then why not head below deck and chill out in the air conditioned lounge area!

After lunch, your captain will take you to your next two snorkelling locations where you will once again, have the option to explore a totally different reef site. Here, you may wish to partake in a scuba dive experience. Let us know if you wish to pre-book this or simply ask your crew on board and they will look after you (subject to availability). Make sure you don’t forget your camera!

As the sun sets, you will head back to shore after an unreal day exploring one of Earth’s most incredible wonders. We’d recommend you head back to your accommodation to freshen up before heading out and exploring some of the amazing food that Cairns has to offer.

If you fancy going somewhere special, look no further than The Esplanade. Here, you will find tons of epic foodie joints with some incredible seafood, pasta, and steaks. No matter what you fancy, you’ll find it!

Our recommendation is Salt House for a special treat or if you want something more casual, then why not head to ‘The Rattle and Hum’ for a few bevvies and a top-notch bit of pub grub!

On day three, you will have the day to explore more and check out all that Cairns has to offer. Cairns is surrounded by lush rainforest, so why not rent a car for the day and explore the Atherton Tablelands or The Daintree National Park? If you fancy something more local and chilled out, then simply head to The Esplanade and take a dip in the saltwater lagoon with ocean views.

Enjoy your last night in Cairns by heading out to town once again. We’d recommend checking out the Cairns Nightmarkets. Whether you fancy street musicians or maybe you want to try some weird and wonderful food then look no further! Located in the Cairns CBD, it’s just a short walk from your accommodation. This is definitely not to be missed.

If you’re up for a big night, then no trip to Cairns is complete without visiting the infamous Gilligans nightclub. DJs from all around the world play here and it’s Cairns biggest nightclub by far! Lucky enough, it’s only a 2 minute walk from your hostel too, so getting home won’t be a problem either!

The final day is here. Time to check out before making your way home or to your next destination. Check out will be at 10AM, and if you need somewhere to store your luggage, just speak to the friendly reception team at Bounce Cairns, and they will help you out!
