After a meaningful morning, visit famous sights such as the India gate war memorial and Rashtrapati Bhavan. This evening you’ll be boarding the overnight train to your next destination, Udaipur.

Today is a true highlight of your time in India and an epic win for the bucket list. The Taj Mahal! Get up early to see a once in a lifetime sunrise over the beautiful marble and gardens of the Taj Mahal. After seeing one of the most breathtaking locations in all of its glory, head to Delhi in the afternoon as you’ll be finishing your time in India. This is a great bonding experience and it a great eco-friendly way to travel long distances in India.

You will have time during the day before the train to get snacks, drinks and other things to make yourself comfortable. As long as you have earbuds you will have a great night’s sleep – or you can stay up all night people watching too if that’s more up your street!

In India there is a big tipping culture surrounding hospitality. To make this easier for you, your tour guide will create a tipping “kitty” for everyone to contribute at the start of the tour. We recommend around £5 a day to cover tipping of the drivers, bag boys and restaurant/hotel staff. This is optional but it is advised.
