Depending on where you’re travelling from it’s likely that you won’t need a visa to enter Peru. However this is guidance only and is subject to change. Make sure to check visa requirements before you travel.
Does the trip require a good level of fitness?
This is considered an active tour. The one day Inca Trail and a few other hikes are included. The Incau Trail to Machu Picchu is a 12km (7.5 miles) hike through the Andes in th Cusco region. The maximum altitude reached is 2700m.
In preparation: try walking 15kms/ 9 miles in a day or working out in the months leading up to the trek. Don’t worry, there are always different levels of fitness on tour, at the end of the day the important thing is to bring good vibes & positive attitude and you will make it!
Is Altitude sickness going to affect me on this trip?
Altitude sickness is no joke, that’s why you’ll spend 1 whole day walking in cusco to get used to it. The hotel also provides coca leaf tea that is used by the locals to get the body ready. Our only recommendation is to take it easy on arrival and not do many activities on day 1.
Is my money protected?

Are there age limits for these tours?
Most of the people that join on tour are 18-thirtysomethings! There is an upper age limit of 45 on these tours.
