For 13 days, you will be exploring the islands together with an experienced group leader and an awesome group of like-minded travelers. This 13 Day Philippines Island Taster Tour starts off in Manila and finishes in El Nido.

To welcome you to paradise, you will head first to the magnificent island of Cebu. On your way there, you will get to experience some of the Philippines’ magnificent waterfalls. Next up, your heart will get pumping as you go canyoneering at Kawasan Falls surrounded by an enchanting rainforest. Arriving in Moalboal, experiencing a Sardine Run is a must. Prepare yourself for a one-of-a-kind snorkeling adventure. Your snorkeling adventures are not over yet though, make sure to keep them ready for when you get to your next destination, Coron. Here you will also hike up Mt Tapyas for some breathtaking views and finish your day watching the sunset from the Maquinit Hot Springs.

From Coron, you will embark on a 3-day island-hopping boat adventure to El Nido. You will venture off-the-beaten track, traveling on a traditional Banca boat, to explore uninhabited islands and encounter local tribes while staying in simple Filipino huts surrounded by sensational views. Once you arrive in El Nido, all that’s left to do is explore the city in a Jeepney, enjoy a traditional Filipino massage, and go to one of the most striking beaches and jungle canopies. Philippines Island Taster Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive & Meet The Group

Welcome to Manila! Your amazing tour guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Once you’ve checked in you’ll then have plenty of time to recover from your flight and relax before you meet everyone in your group!

Day 2: Travel to MoalBoal

Today you’ll travel to the stunning island of Cebu via a short internal flight and ferry, stopping at some of the Islands best waterfalls along the way. Get ready to capture the best insta pics whilst feeling like you’re in paradise!

Day 3: Kawasan Falls Canyoneering

Leaving Siquijor, today you’ll stop for a thrilling canyoneering adventure at Kawasan Falls that’ll have you leaping into bright blue pools and exploring the magical rainforest surroundings.

Day 4: Snorkelling & Sardine Run

This morning you’re off on a snorkelling trip to observe the Sardine Run that Moalboal is famous for. A phenomenon worthy of a David Attenborough documentary, you’ll have the chance to snorkel amongst countless sardines in amazingly clear water – an experience like nothing else! The afternoon is yours to check out more of Moalboal town or relax by the beach or pool under the tropical sun.

Day 5: Travel to Coron

Today you’ll stop at Simala Church, a castle-like monastery where you can learn about the Spanish colonization of the Philippines. From Cebu City you’ll take your second internal flight to Busuanga Island, check in to your hotel in Coron and head into town for dinner and drinks!

Day 6: Snorkelling Day Trip

It’s time to whip out the snorkel goggles and underwater camera as you go snorkelling in the Sulu Sea. Visiting some of Corons most iconic snorkel spots, you’ll be sure to spot some beautiful creatures!

Day 7: Explore Coron

This morning you can choose to wander Coron Town or just chill by the pool. Later that day, hike up Mount Tapyas for beautiful views of the bay. After some exercise you’ll travel to Maquinit Hot Springs to relax your bodies and be rewarded with a golden sunset as you soak in the hot saltwater pools.

Day 8: Island Hopping Adventure

Today you set off on a spectacular 3-day island-hopping expedition from Coron to El Nido. Sailing on a traditional Banca boat you’ll go off the beaten track to explore untouched islands, pristine oceans, meet local tribes and sleep on the beach. The Filipino huts are simple, but with very few tourists, loads of fresh food and marvelous vistas everywhere you turn, the trade off is absolutely worth it.

Day 9: Island Hopping Adventure

Continuing your trip to Palawan you’ll pass more white beaches and swim with fish in some of the world’s most colorful snorkelling spots. Completely off the grid, you’ll be able to fully immerse in the heavenly beauty of your surroundings. With nothing else to worry about, all you have on the agenda is swim, snorkel, sunbathe, repeat! Tonight, stay on the beach in a traditional camp, dozing off to the sounds of the waves under the stars.

Day 10: Arrive in El Nido

Today your island hopping expedition comes to an end as you arrive on the island of Palawan. After a few days of swimming and sailing, today is yours to relax on the beach, sip cold drinks and discover El Nido. Tonight you’ll get to experience the island’s nightlife!

Day 11: Massage & Canopy Walk

This morning you’ll ease your muscles with an included Filipino massage, the ultimate way to chill after so much adventure. You’ll then head off to see the town from above on a walk through the lush jungle canopy. Tonight you’ll choose how you want to spend your evening. A sunset bar or perhaps a chilled dinner, the options are endless!

Day 12: El Nido Jeepney Tour

Your last full day will see you hopping in a Jeepney to tour El Nido. You’ll visit a local organic farm and enjoy lunch on the beach with a traditional Filipino dance performed by the local children. Then, visit Nacpan Beach, one of the most beautiful spots on Palawan. Tonight, wrap things up with your last dinner and drinks to toast the incredible adventures you’ve had.

Day 13: Check Out & Onward Travel

Your amazing 13 day adventure comes to an end. You can either check out and make your way back home, stay on longer in El Nido or continue your travels in the Philippines.

Do I need to reconfirm my bookings?

All bookings must be reconfirmed 48 hours in advance by contacting your tour provider directly using the contact information listed on your tour voucher.

What should I do if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?

You may either re-schedule directly with the supplier or you can email our support team on [email protected] and include your voucher number, name of product you booked, planned departure date and your contact details. Once you’ve emailed us, you can drop us a line at +61 2 5633 1149.

Do you book tours with flexible dates? If so, how long are they valid for?

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.

What do I do if I need help with an existing booking?

Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.

Do I need travel insurance?

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).

How do I know if my trip is BYO?

Most tour vouchers will specify if your trip is BYO however we recommend asking your tour provider if your trip is BYO when you reconfirm your booking 48 hours prior to departure.
