Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Alice Springs - Uluru

Rise early to meet your group and guide, then hit the road toward Australia’s iconic Outback. After an optional breakfast stop at a classic roadhouse (own expense), travel through remote desert landscapes with scenic stops at Mt Connor and shimmering salt lakes before reaching Yulara. Following lunch, head into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to visit the Cultural Centre and learn about the area’s rich Indigenous heritage.

Next, experience the awe-inspiring presence of Uluru up close. Choose between a full 10-kilometre base walk or a shorter stroll along the Mala Walk to Kanju Waterhole – both offer unforgettable views of the sacred rock. As the day winds down, enjoy snacks while watching the colours of an epic Outback sunset over Uluru. Then, head to your private campsite for a hot shower, a hearty dinner, and a night sleeping under the stars in a traditional Aussie swag.

Day 2: Uluru - Kings Canyon

Start your day with an included breakfast and witness the unforgettable colours of an Uluru sunrise. Then travel to Kata Tjuta, also known as The Olgas, for a guided walk through the stunning Walpa Gorge where towering rock formations create an incredible landscape. After returning to camp for lunch, journey onward to a remote bush camp in Watarrka National Park, home to Kings Canyon. Unwind with a hot shower before enjoying a traditional Outback barbecue dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs

After breakfast, set out for Kings Canyon and embark on a guided six-kilometre hike along the breathtaking Canyon Rim. Explore a dramatic landscape filled with towering cliffs, narrow chasms and ancient rock formations. Discover natural wonders like the Lost City, relax beneath the palm-fringed shade of the Garden of Eden and take in sweeping views from the North and South Walls. After lunch, begin the journey back to Alice Springs with a few scenic stops along the way, arriving in town by early evening.

Pick Ups & Departures

**Joining point:**
Default pick up – Stay at Alice Springs Hotel (formerly Aurora Alice Springs) between 6-6.30am, 11 Leichardt Terrace. The default pick up point is where we will meet you for your tour, and unless you or your travel agent requests an alternative location, we will assume you will be waiting at Stay at Alice Springs Hotel. We also pick up from many other hotels in Alice Springs, please ask our Reservations team for options.

It is your responsibility to contact us with your preferred pick up point well ahead of departure. We do not take responsibility for missed tours if we have not been advised of an alternative in advance and you are not at the default location on time.

If you are booking open dated, we will require 14 Days notice.

Reconfirm your booking!

We require all bookings to be reconfirmed with us 2 Days before your scheduled start.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be processed according to the following time frames…

  • Cancellations within 7 Days of the start date incur a 100.00% fee.
  • Between 7 Days and 28 Days incur a 50.00% fee.
  • Between 28 Days and 365 Days incur a $250.00 fee.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to reconfirm my bookings?

You will receive a check-in link 7 days before your departure. This is how you can reconfirm your booking, your pickup location, and update any details such as dietary requirements or special needs.

What should I do if my trip is cancelled due to bad weather?

You may either re-schedule directly with the supplier or you can email our support team on [email protected] and include your voucher number, name of product you booked, planned departure date and your contact details. Once you’ve emailed us, you can drop us a line at +61 2 5633 1149.

Do you book tours with flexible dates? If so, how long are they valid for?

Yes, we do have open dated/flexible tickets available. Most tour vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, however please be aware that you may be subject to supplier price fluctuations. All ticket validity is specified on the tour voucher. If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher, just ask one of our wonderful staff.

What do I do if I need help with an existing booking?

Some tours have extra costs and you should be aware that there may be added expenses. These expenses will differ for each service provider, but some of the more usual extras are: EMC tax, stinger suit hire, luggage storage, sleeping bag hire, linen hire, national park fee, food, insurance, accommodation, equipment hire, petrol levy, etc. We will alert you to extra costs to the extent reasonably practicable. However, you must also check with each individual service provider when you re-confirm your booking.

Do I need travel insurance?

We endorse the recommendation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade that all travellers take out travel insurance. If you already have travel insurance, please understand that it is your responsibility to ensure that your travel insurance covers you for all of the adventure style travel you have booked with us.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely, we understand that paying off a big trip in one go isn’t always that easy. We offer flexible payment plans to suit all types of travellers with zero interest or fee’s (minimum $100AUD deposit required).
