Cancellations within 28 Days of the start date incur a 100.00% fee.
Between 28 Day and 365 Days incur a 25.00% fee.

Free date or tour changes up to 30 days before start date. If changes are made within 30 days, fees will apply

It’s always a good time to go travelling in Vietnam. Most months of the year you will experience both sunshine and possibly some rain. It’s usually quite hot and humid most of the time, but it can occasionally get cold, especially in the north of Vietnam between November and February, so it’s always best to bring a couple of warm layers with your summer clothing.

Most visitors are allowed to visit Vietnam for up to 90 days (max duration depending on your passport country), without a visa regardless of entry purpose. For more information and visa updates please check the official Vietnam Government website.

If you are doing an INTRO Travel group tour in Vietnam, all of your accommodation and transport are included, plus some meals and an awesome tour guide. A traveller can expect to need £350 / $700 AUD / $450 USD spending money on top of the tour price.

While a week can be enough time to experience the top sites and culture of Vietnam we usually recommend you stay a little longer, so you can properly enjoy all of the incredible things this country has to offer without missing anything. By joining one of our group tours we’ll fit as much into the time you have available as possible, with all the best bucket list inclusions sorted for you!

A group tour that includes both the North & South is the best way to see Vietnam! Having all of your accommodation, transport, activities and some meals already organised for you means you can fully enjoy the destination without any added stresses.

The accommodation ranges from local homestays to hotels and overnight trains. All are a nice standard, clean and comfortable, however the homestay’s are quite rural so expect some bumpy roads, western but basic amenities and more bugs and wildlife in the area.

Vietnam is a large country, and we experience a lot of it! So expect some longer travel days, with some loud motorbike traffic in the main centres.

Delicious vegetarian cuisine is plentiful in Vietnam, however strict gluten free and vegan options can be harder as egg and fish sauce are common ingredients. But we will do our best to provide suitable options. A wide variety of Western meals is not common, however the authentic local food is outstanding!

It’s best to arrive on the actual start date. This is when most people arrive. There are no activities on the first day but the group gets together in the evening for a welcome dinner at around 7pm. Sometimes people like to arrive a day or two before the trip starts so they can do their own exploring or just have a bit of time to chill before all the fun begins.

Flights to and from Vietnam are not included in the price of the tour and will need to be booked separately. However if your tour has an internal flight as part of the itinerary, then this is included!

Our groups usually have around 12-16 people on them, usually aged between 18 to early 40’s. We get people from all over the world on our tours, so you’ll get to bond with a wide range of travellers who all share that same passion for adventure! As long as you have an appetite for adventure and are happy bonding with people of all backgrounds, you’ll fit in perfectly!

You will receive a ‘welcome email’ from your group leader approx. 2 weeks before your tour begins.

Before your trip starts we’ll put you in touch with the rest of your group so you can start chatting and get to know each other. And after the trip a lot of people continue travelling with the new friends they’ve made!

A big part of the INTRO Travel difference is our after-trip support. Your group leader will spend enough time as needed to ensure you are totally comfortable and confident with where you’re going next. And can help organise and book whatever you need, including any transport, accommodation or trips you may want. We’ll also provide 24/7 support and advice after your trip, and will always be there to help when you need it.

Travel insurance is compulsory for all our trips. You’ll need to show proof of your policy to your group leader upon arrival (on your phone or printed).
